Ok, what is Print Trail anyway?

Print Trail is designed to enable sellers to have their orders fulfilled automatically to customers. This includes print-on-demand and warehoused inventory, from multiple global locations. We explain more here.

Is Print Trail only suitable for books?

Books are our forte, but you can ship many types of products via Print Trail. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Where do you ship from, and to?

We ship from several locations in the US and UK. Some locations are print-on-demand, others ship from inventory stock.

We are unable to ship to a number of restricted countries. See the full list: Countries we cannot ship to.

Can I integrate my e-commerce store?

Your web developer can use the Print Trail API to build an integration. And we are working on some click-and-go integrations with popular e-commerce platforms, so watch this space.

I don’t understand the jargon!

We try our best not to use jargon, and to keep language as plain and clear as possible. But sometimes we have to use terms that may be new to you. Fear not! They are all explained in our Glossary.

How do I create a print-on-demand product?

How do I create a product?

To create a single product you may want to use the Print Trail app (see this guide). Or, you can upload products in bulk.

Can I upload my products in bulk?

How do I add a new user?

Where can I check on the status of an order?

Go to ‘All orders’, and search for the order number. Click on the order to see the order’s details. Scroll down to see fulfilments for this order. Each fulfilment in an order has its own status.

How can I track an order?

If the fulfilment was sent via a tracked shipping method, once it is dispatched the tracking info will be added to the order. Learn more.

Will you notify my customers when their order is dispatched?

By default, when a fulfilment order is dispatched we send an email to the address on the order. If the shipping method includes tracking then we also send the tracking link, direct to the customer.

What is a ‘team’?

Each ‘account’ on Print Trail is known as a ‘team’. All your activity happens with your team, including managing orders, products, and users. Learn more.

What is a ‘fulfilment’?

A fulfilment is all or part of an order, shipped from one fulfilment location. Learn more here.

Why have you misspelled ‘fulfillment’!?

We use the 🇬🇧 British English spelling: ‘fulfilment’.

Can I use Print Trail to sell a pre-order product, like Kickstarter?

Yes, you can. Print Trail supports pre-order products.
